Fugang Wang, Javier Diaz, and Koji Tanaka of FutureGrid gear up to support Science Cloud Summer School 2012 participants who choose to create their own projects on FutureGrid to continue their Science Cloud educational and research activities.

We observed in some tutorials that a number of users had difficulties with putty on Windows. Although the instructions do work, we encountered that if they are not followed carefully users run into difficulties. If you like to us an alternative way, I strongly encourage that you look at:

Here we describe a method of using cygwin in a prepackaged form that you download and just start. Than all interaction becomes much easier for you.
